Sarah Breu is an Athletic Therapist. She has extensive experience working with high level athletes and working alongside coaching staff to help facilitate cohesive injury recovery rehabilitation as well as preventative care. Sarah has a long history of working with competitive athletes in a variety of sports such as rugby, football, synchronized swimming, gymnastics, OCR, basketball, volleyball and hockey to name a few.
Sarah’s treatment approach is very holistic, to incorporate the entire body. She not only treats your pain, but she addresses the contributing factors that caused the pain or injury in the first place. Sarah uses a lot of manual techniques, including her certifications in Graston and K-taping. As an active person herself, she understands the frustration injuries create when you can’t do what you love, so she strives to get you moving as quickly as possible.
She attended Mount Royal for a post graduate certificate in Athletic Therapy and has been in practice since 2010. With the goal of getting you back to whatever you define as “play”, she is looking forward in helping you and your active kiddos stay on/in the trails, slopes, walls, fields, gyms and pools.

Mariko came to Canada in 2007 from Japan and fell in love with the mountains.
She worked as a physiotherapist in Japan for 6 years before coming to Canada. While in Japan, she was receiving massages regularly and always appreciated how much relief was provided physically and mentally.
After deciding to make Canmore home, Mariko wanted to find a career that she could use her physio background as well as provide the relief that people deserve to feel. And massage therapy was the perfect one!
She graduated from a 2200 hours of massage therapy program in 2016. Mariko worked in a spa for 4 years and learned to work with many body types and their needs. She realized that many of her clients were appreciating her deep tissue and therapeutic approach during those years which made her decide to work in a clinical setting.
Mariko likes to combine therapeutic approach and relaxation massage during her treatment because she believes that relaxation is essential for everyone’s well-being and healing process. She caters her treatments to your individual needs including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point release, cupping.
